Rolex unveils its new watches, conceived by the perpetually active imagination that imbues the entire Manufacture
It’s singular approach to watchmaking drives innovation in all areas of the art. From the movements to cases and bracelets, from design to the choice of materials, the latest creations offered by Rolex attest to undiminished creative spirit, constantly elevated standards, and an unswerving desire to push back the limits of excellence. These new watches are born of visionary achievements in watchmaking that pave the way to new horizons.
Opening new horizons
Reinventing the present lays foundations for the future. Rolex begins a new chapter in its history with the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller. This most contemporary watch represents the culmination of the brand’s expertise today, fruit of more than a century of experience in watchmaking.

The Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller is designed for those well-grounded men and women who build their own destinies, seeing opportunity in every moment. Fitted with a bracelet that flows seamlessly from the case and is almost indistinguishable from it, this streamlined watch boasts a revolutionary calibre.
Featuring an escapement with an innovative architecture and a new state-of-the-art oscillator, the movement was designed to beat at the high frequency of 5 Hz and deliver superlative performance in all circumstances.
No fewer than 32 patent applications and patents pertain to the Land-Dweller, of which 18 are exclusive to this watch. Integrating many horological accomplishments, conceived by the far-thinkers who are mapping out the future of watchmaking, the Land-Dweller is the watch of those who, today, are already designing tomorrow’s world.
Innovation in movement
The Land-Dweller is equipped with calibre 7135, entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This avant-garde, self-winding movement includes major innovations for which 16 patent applications have been filed. Although thinner than the majority of Rolex movements, it nonetheless delivers outstanding performance.
Dynapulse, a revolutionary escapement
The most significant innovation in calibre 7135 is the Dynapulse escapement, a ground-breaking alternative to the traditional Swiss lever escapement. In this sequential distribution escapement, for which seven patent applications have been filed, power is transmitted through a rolling motion. A transmission wheel, connected to the barrel, drives two specially designed distribution wheels.

These wheels in turn activate an impulse rocker that sustains the oscillations of the balance wheel. Benefiting from an innovative architecture and comprising mainly silicon components, the Dynapulse escapement brings many advantages: its components are very lightweight, it is virtually insensitive to magnetic fields, and it offers substantially greater energy efficiency compared to traditional escapements.
State-of-the-art oscillator
The oscillator of calibre 7135 is resistant to strong magnetic fields, thanks to the materials from which its components are made. It is equipped with a balance wheel in optimized brass and a balance staff whose material and fabrication posed a challenge to develop.
This patented balance staff is made of a new high-tech ceramic, exclusive to Rolex, and is sculpted by laser – a first for the brand. The optimized Paraflex shock absorbers, located at each end of the balance staff, enhance the shock resistance of the movement in any position.
Frequency of 5 Hz
Incorporating a Syloxi hairspring in silicon, the oscillator beats at a steady 36,000 beats per hour, or a frequency of 5 Hz, measuring time to a tenth of a second.
This rate notably allows the watch to maintain its chronometric precision whatever the wearer’s actions and arm movements. Although higher frequencies demand greater energy, calibre 7135 guarantees a comfortable power reserve of around 66 hours, thanks to the Dynapulse escapement.
In addition to its exceptional performance, the refined aesthetics of calibre 7135 are particularly pleasing, and the gleaming yellow-gold oscillating weight and delicate Rolex Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges can be admired through the transparent case back.
New perspectives
With a resolutely modern touch, the Land-Dweller reinterprets the design of watches with integrated bracelets. Explored first in 1969 with the Rolex Quartz, and again in 1974 on a Datejust with self-winding movement, it is a design where, aesthetically, bracelet and case meld perfectly in a smooth continuous line.
This visual harmony has drawn inspiration from the boldest of contemporary aesthetics, sketching out new perspectives. Featuring a dial with graphic appeal – a timeless, nature-inspired honeycomb motif – the Land-Dweller is offered in two diameters, 36 mm and 40 mm. It is available in a white Rolesor version or in 18 ct Everose gold with an intense white dial, and in 950 platinum with an ice blue dial.
Flat Jubilee bracelet and restyled Oyster case
A bracelet that appears to be one with the case: the effect of continuity between these two elements underlies the concept of this new watch. Entirely redesigned, the particularly fine lines of the Oyster case are drawn out into the silhouette of a new bracelet: the Flat Jubilee.
The fluid elegance of the whole is accentuated by the interplay of the finishings – technical satin finish and polishing. The polished chamfering on the top edges of the bracelet and case catches the light, producing a ribbon of reflections.
Honeycomb motif dial
The identity of the Land-Dweller is fully revealed by careful observation of the dial details. Framed by an angled flange, the watch face features a geometric pattern in the form of a honeycomb motif in subtle relief. On the versions with a Chromalight display, the open numerals and index hour markers are luminescent, granting optimal legibility in any situation.
The hands are also luminescent and have been specially designed for the watch. At once sleek, elegant, technical and contemporary, the Land-Dweller is bestowed with a universal personality that makes it the perfect watch for every occasion.

Once upon a first time
A ceramic dial. A dedicated seven-piece link bracelet. Original combinations of materials, colours and finishings. So many firsts in the history of Rolex come as an invitation to look afresh at some of the brand’s iconic models.
This year’s creations spark a palette of new sensations, thanks to the expertise found across all departments at Rolex. A manufactory of emotions rooted in a multitude of achievements, made possible by the in-house technical knowledge and skill in all aspects of watchmaking.
The GMT-Master II: The perfect match
Rolex has chosen to introduce its very first ceramic dial on an 18 ct white gold version of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II. In the same material, with the same green colour and the same lustre, this Cerachrom dial and the daytime half of the green and black bezel insert echo each other perfectly.

Betokening the technical prowess of the brand’s engineers, this visual harmony stems from the mastery of high-technology ceramic: the dial and the bezel insert are made of exactly the same material. This new dial makes its debut on a GMT-Master II with the winding crown on the left, similarly to the introduction of the green and black bezel insert in 2022.
The version presented this year is fitted on an Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock safety clasp. Thanks to the additional hand that displays a second time zone, the GMT-Master II helps travellers to attune the changing times on their journey to the immutable temporality of others.
In its new version with a perfect pairing of dial and bezel, this watch continues to foster interconnectedness, inviting permanency regardless of distance and time differences.
The Oyster Perpetual: A fresh look
A muted lavender, a warm sandy beige and a fresh pistachio green. The Oyster Perpetual is graced with new faces in an array of colours that celebrate the meeting of pastel shades, vibrant lacquering and a smooth, matt finish. The lavender dial is available on the Oyster Perpetual 28 and the beige dial on the Oyster Perpetual 36.
The pistachio dial is presented on the Oyster Perpetual 41, a model whose proportions have been slightly reworked, introducing a redesigned case and a slimmer Oysterclasp.

The soft new dial colours that have joined the range in tandem with the flowing lines of the new Oyster Perpetual 41 reaffirm the original promise of the Oyster – to be a simple, reliable and robust watch that looks good on every wrist; a watch whose infinite variety of faces continually suggest exciting new possibilities.
The 1908: The geometry of elegance
Rarely has solid gold felt so supple and light on the wrist. The Perpetual 1908 in 18 ct yellow gold is now available on a bracelet fashioned entirely in this precious metal. An innovative geometry endows this seven-piece link bracelet with refinement and comfort in all-round elegance.
The scintillating Settimo bracelet, composed of very small links, is the first metal bracelet dedicated to the 1908. Its exquisite construction and slightly contoured links, polished on every surface, produce a sublime and sparkling display of reflected light.
Equipped with a concealed Crownclasp, its well-proportioned design evokes the jewellery-inspired bracelets of some vintage watches. It therefore captures the original spirit of the 1908, conceived in homage to watchmaking tradition.
The Datejust: Light and shade
Just like the last rays of the sun piercing the horizon at nightfall, the dial of the new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 presents a communion of light and shade. The red ombré dial displays a subtle transition between the fire at its centre and a deep darkness at its edge – a chiaroscuro enhanced by the sparkling diamonds set on the bezel and dial.

This is the first time that Rolex offers a red ombré dial, a colour that is highly complex to obtain via the process of PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). The brand’s dial-making expertise, coupled with the craftsmanship of its master gem-setters, engenders a watch dial that comes alive and shows different faces according to the intensity of daylight or the evening’s shadows. This exclusive dial is presented on the Datejust 31 in 18 ct yellow gold.
New dials: The brilliance of the unexpected
Three models in bold configurations. Subtle combinations of colours and materials elicit new emotions. The Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, GMT-Master II and Sky-Dweller are unveiled with new dials that magnify their aura. The Cosmograph Daytona dons a turquoise blue lacquer dial paired with bright black counters.

The GMT-Master II in 18 ct Everose gold with a Cerachrom bezel insert in brown and black ceramic is now available with a dial in tiger iron. This metamorphic rock, used by Rolex for the first time, is characterized by its complex structure. Composed of three minerals – tiger’s eye, red jasper and hematite – it is a natural stone that pulses with golden and orangey tints, which, following painstaking selection and meticulous assembly, marry harmoniously with the colours of the case and bracelet.

For the first time, the Sky-Dweller brings together two of the brand’s iconic colours, juxtaposing a sunray-finished, bright green dial with a case and bracelet in 18 ct yellow gold. This radiant dial together with the resplendent reflections from the fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet result in an exceptionally exuberant watch.
