Italian shipyard Tankoa has introduced the S520, an upgraded version of its successful 50-meter model, the S501. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, the new yacht extends the platform to 52 meters while maintaining the sleek proportions of its predecessor
With its gun-metal grey hull and refined profile, the S520 commands attention on the water. The redesigned wheelhouse glazing and sloping lines from stern to bow create a sporty, dynamic aesthetic.
Enhanced Outdoor Living
Compared to the S501, the S520 features significantly expanded outdoor spaces, including a longer sun deck with an infinity pool, an enlarged skylounge, and an extended flybridge.
‘The new Tankoa S520 stands out for its outdoor space, which has become a top priority for yacht owners who enjoy open-air living,’ said designer Francesco Paszkowski. ‘We created a longer and more functional flybridge and a completely reimagined stern, seamlessly connecting the main deck, swim platform, and beach club.’
Seamless Beach Club Concept
The redesigned stern integrates the main deck, aft platform, and beach club, creating a multi-functional, light-filled space with direct ocean access. This split-level area features two sunbathing zones protected by glass, ensuring usability even while cruising.
Functional and Future-Ready Features
The S520 incorporates several smart design elements, including an integrated crane at the bow for tender storage and a seamlessly built-in gangway. The upper deck aft is dedicated to entertainment, while the forward section is optimized for toy storage, catering to the needs of modern yacht owners.
Contemporary Interiors
Inside, the S520 continues the collaboration between Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini. The yacht boasts higher ceilings and larger windows, creating an airy, open feel. Architectural elements such as overlapping panels and partitions enhance the sense of space, while the neutral grey-toned palette unifies the interior with the yacht’s exterior.
‘We designed the owner’s suite as a series of connected yet independent spaces, including a bedroom, lounge, study, walk-in wardrobe, and vanity area,’ said Paszkowski.
