GX Superyachts presents the GX34, a testament to how responsible design can achieve new levels of luxury and functional excellence
Following high demand, this announcement of GX34 comes shortly after the start of construction on the GX42 flagship.
‘The GX34 embodies our Responsible Yachting philosophy, with hybrid-electric propulsion and a highly efficient hull. With its stylish design and exceptional comfort, we believe it represents the future of sustainable yachting’, stated Vladimir Zinchenko, founder of GX Superyachts and owner of Greenline Yachts, a pioneer in hybrid yachting.
Sustainability at Its Core
Like its larger sister, the GX Superyachts GX34 delivers the full superyacht experience while reducing CO₂ emissions by 30%. Utilizing hybrid diesel-electric propulsion from Greenline Yachts, it pairs twin 200kW electric motors with up to 2132kW of diesel power. A lithium-ion battery bank (up to 800kWh) ensures optimal energy efficiency.
With up to 46 solar panels, the yacht generates 30MWh of solar power per year, enabling silent operation for up to 48 hours. For longer journeys, the diesel engines recharge the batteries, ensuring efficiency.
The GX Superyachts GX34 offers an oceanic range of 10,000 nautical miles in hybrid mode at 6 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a top speed of 16 knots, depending on the engine package. A ‘Hybrid Sport’ upgrade is under development.
Luxury Superyacht Lifestyle
Designed by Marco Casali (exterior/interior) and Francesco Rogantin (NAMES) (naval architecture), the GX34 RPH (raised pilot house) variant was showcased, with Fly and Coupe versions also available.
All models feature a spacious aft guest cockpit, while the lower deck expands to over 50m² with lowered side wings. Optional features include a saltwater pool and a tender lift for boats up to 4.5m. The flybridge can be customized with dining, lounge areas, a bar, and a Jacuzzi with panoramic views.
GX34: Where Comfort Meets Design
The yacht includes five luxurious cabins, with the owner’s suite offering 270° panoramic views. Casali’s interior design blends natural wood, leather, and stone, reinforcing the sustainability-first approach.
‘As we celebrate our 75th year, we are thrilled to partner with GX Superyachts, a brand that embodies sustainable innovation. The GX lineup represents the future of luxury yachting, and we are excited to bring these groundbreaking vessels to the Americas’, concluded Cromwell Littlejohn, President and CCO of Northrop & Johnson.
