The International Boat Show at Marina Baotić welcomed over 12,000 sea and sailing enthusiasts
The second edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show confirmed that Dalmatia has gained one of the most attractive international nautical fairs in the region, concluding this weekend in the most beautiful way possible – with the sound of boat horns.
More than 12,000 visitors attended the fair at Marina Baotić in Seget Donji, where 150 exhibitors presented 200 vessels, 72 brands, and an impressive 15 premieres. The 2,000 additional visitors and 25 percent increase in exhibitors compared to last year underscore the event’s quality, particularly considering the current slowdown in nautical tourism.
‘Once again, we’ve demonstrated that Croatia is one of the most attractive nautical countries with a long-standing tradition in this sector. With the Dalmatia Boat Show, we’ve heralded the new nautical season, and despite the stagnation in nautical tourism and the current geopolitical situation, we believe we will achieve excellent results again this year. I’m delighted that the exhibitors are extremely satisfied with our fair and that they will all be returning next year. I would like to thank my team once again for a job well done, and I’m announcing the third Dalmatia Boat Show in April 2026 for all nautical enthusiasts,’ stated Željko Baotić, owner of Marina Baotić and the initiator of the fair, who has been in the nautical industry for 35 years and built one of the most modern Croatian marinas in Seget Donji.
From luxurious vessels and automobiles to a rich selection of food and wine, and from an engaging musical lineup to an interesting business program, the Dalmatia Boat Show offered something for everyone, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display that illuminated the sky above Seget Donji.
The Dalmatia Boat Show generated significant interest in eco-friendly electric vessels, including the premiere of the seven-meter open catamaran DeAntonio E-23. Attendees were also keen to see the most expensive boat at the fair, a 5.4-million-euro yacht from the manufacturer Absolute, and to take photos with the European Yacht of the Year, the Hanse 360. The event featured a wide array of catamarans and inflatable boats, alongside various offerings related to nautical activities and nautical tourism.
This year again saw a strong focus on ecology and sustainable nautical tourism. Alongside a panel discussion addressing the topic of ‘What, How, and Where with Abandoned Vessels in Marinas’, an environmental action to clean the sea and a malacological workshop for elementary school students from Seget Donji and Kaštela were also organized.
